Virat Kohli’s Complete List of Records and Milestones Achieved in India vs West Indies 1st ODI

Virat Kohli produced another record-breaking innings against West Indies in the 1st ODI in Thiruvananthapuram on September 27, 2026. His century added several major milestones to his name.

Kohli reached his 60th List A century, putting him level with Sachin Tendulkar for the most centuries in List A cricket. The landmark came during his 74-ball hundred against West Indies.

The former India captain smashed 8 fours and 7 sixes in his century, scoring at a strike rate of 143.21. His aggressive knock also helped him cross another major landmark in ODI cricket.

Kohli scored his 10th ODI century against West Indies, matching his own record for the most ODI hundreds against a single team. He had previously scored 10 centuries against Sri Lanka.

Kohli also equalled Sunil Gavaskar’s record for the most international centuries against West Indies. Both Indian batters now have 13 hundreds against the Caribbean side across formats.

The innings also saw Kohli complete 15,000 ODI runs, making him only the second batter after Sachin Tendulkar to reach the landmark.

Kohli’s latest hundred therefore became more than just another three-figure score. It added several records to a career that continues to produce major milestones even after more than a decade at the international level.
