The star Indian batter set the stage ablaze with his extraordinary batting skills. No wonder he is standing third in the tally of leading run-scorers with 239 runs in six innings at an average of 59.75 and a strike rate of 189.68. His 40-ball 68 against South Africa was his highest score in the tournament.
4. Jos Buttler
The T20 World Cup-winning skipper stands fourth in this list, having amassed 225 runs in six matches at an average of 45 and a strike rate of 144.23. He clobbered an unbeaten 80 off just 49 balls against India to throw them out of the tournament.
5. Kusal Mendis
The Sri Lanka wicketkeeper-batter finished the season as the fifth-highest run-getter of the tournament. He accumulated 223 runs from five matches at an average of 31.86 and a strike rate of 142.95. He played a stupendous knock of 44-ball 79 against Ireland, which also marks his highest score in the tournament.
