Delhi Capitals bowler Kagiso Rabada has set a special record in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Rabada became the fastest bowler to take 50 wickets in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The South African fast bowler has been successful in taking 50 wickets in the 27th IPL match. In the 34th match of IPL 2020, Rabada took 50 wickets in IPL career as soon as he dismissed Du Plessis.
Rabada has achieved the feat in just 27 matches as compared to Sunil Narine, who achieved this feat in 32 outings.

Apart from this, Lasith Malinga, the highest wicket-taker in the IPL, took 50 IPL wickets in the 33rd match of his IPL career.
Rabada has also become the second bowler of Delhi Capitals to take 50 wickets. Amit Mishra occupies the first spot as he has also taken 50 wickets for Delhi Capitals.
Rabada is currently the purple cap holder, with 19 wickets in nine matches. He’s 6 ahead of Royal Challengers Bangalore spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who is second in the race for Purple cap.
