In what comes as a big boost for Lucknow Super Giants, star pacer Mohsin Khan, who was recovering from injury, has been declared fit by the medical team. He is expected to be available for selection in the remaining games of Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League 2023.
Earlier, there were rumours that the pacer would be out for the majority of the ongoing season after undergoing surgery to remove blood clots from his shoulder. The pacer, however, is currently declared fit, and has been included in the LSG squad for the remainder of the season.
Moshin Khan to be Available for Upcoming Matches
Lucknow Super Giants are currently fielding a pace attack comprising Mark Wood, Avesh Khan, Yudhvir Singh Charak, a recent addition to their squad who made a memorable debut against Punjab Kings in the last match. The Jammu pacer garnered all the attention by taking two wickets in just two overs.
With three wins from five matches, the Lucknow Super Giants currently occupy the second spot on the points table. Their next challenge is a game against the top-ranked Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. It remains to be seen if Mohsin Khan will be included in the playing XI for this match.
Should the Uttar Pradesh pacer be selected to play, it’s expected that he’ll take over from Avesh Khan in the playing XI. Avesh has struggled to make an impact in the tournament, taking only three wickets in four matches while conceding runs at an economy rate of more than 10.
