India posted 223 all out in 20 overs after a flying start from Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan. Abhishek smashed 69 off just 30 balls, while the pair added 108 runs in only 40 deliveries to put India in a strong position.

Abhishek and Kishan Lead India’s Charge

India raced to 87/1 in the Powerplay, putting the West Indies bowlers under pressure. Abhishek attacked from the start, while Kishan provided strong support as the hosts looked set for a much bigger total.

However, India’s innings lost momentum after the explosive start. The team lost three wickets for just nine runs in 10 balls, allowing the West Indies to fight their way back into the contest. Several run-outs later in the innings also hurt India’s chances of finishing with an even bigger score.

Despite the collapse, India managed to cross the 220-run mark and set the visitors a challenging target of 224.

Arshdeep Leads India’s Bowling Attack

The West Indies fought hard in the chase but finished at 209/7 in 20 overs, falling 14 runs short. India’s bowlers held their nerve in the final overs and prevented the visitors from completing another successful chase on the tour.

Arshdeep Singh was India’s leading wicket-taker, finishing with figures of 3/44. His wickets helped India keep the West Indies under pressure during key stages of the innings.

Shimron Hetmyer scored 43, while Kamil Pooran contributed 42 as the visitors kept their hopes alive. However, the rising required run rate made the chase increasingly difficult in the closing overs.

India’s bowlers delivered when it mattered most to secure an important victory. With a 2-1 lead in the five-match series, India will look to build on this performance in the fourth T20I.
