Team India arrived in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday, October 1, where they were scheduled to play a warm-up match against the Netherlands on October 3, before kicking off their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign against Australia in Chennai on October 8.
The Indian team’s opening warmup match against England, slated for September 30 in Guwahati, had to be abandoned due to continuous rainfall, with no play possible.
Team India has shown significant improvement in their recent three-match ODI series against Australia, addressing key aspects in both their batting and bowling departments. They undoubtedly aim to carry this momentum into the 2023 World Cup.
