[Watch] Hasan Ali Injured Himself Again While Celebrating A Wicket
Hasan Ali has injured himself again while celebrating a wicket, this time during T20 Blast.
Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali’s flamboyant wicket-taking celebration has landed him in trouble once more. While playing for Warwickshire in the ongoing T20 Blast, Hasan Ali injured himself while celebrating a dismissal against Nottinghamshire on Saturday.
This isn’t the first time Hasan Ali‘s signature celebration, an explosive arm extension, has resulted in injury. Back in 2018, he pulled a neck muscle during a similar celebration while playing for Pakistan against Zimbabwe.
The incident happened in the 19th over when Hasan Ali dismissed Olly Stone with a precise yorker. His excitement was short-lived as he appeared to pull a muscle in his abdomen during his celebratory pose. He was visibly struggling to breathe and stretched his arms in an attempt to alleviate the pain.
