[Watch] “Grow Some F**** Balls!” – Shubman Gill Explodes at Zak Crawley in Heated Lord’s Clash
Shubman Gill abuses Duckett during tense Lord’s Test moment, sparking drama over England's time-wasting tactics.
India captain Shubman Gill lost his cool during a tense moment at the end of Day 3 of the third Test between India and England at Lord’s.
In a fiery exchange with England opener Ben Duckett, Gill was caught on the stump mic saying, “Grow some f balls,” as tempers flared over England’s slow tactics.

What Sparked Gill’s Outburst?
It all started in the final minutes of play on Saturday (July 12). India were trying to fit in an extra over before stumps, but Duckett and his partner Zak Crawley were in no mood to cooperate.
Crawley took his time getting ready at the crease, even pulling out of his stance a couple of times to eat up the clock.
During the fifth ball of the over, Duckett and Crawley had a mid-pitch chat, clearly delaying things. That’s when Gill stormed in and made the now-viral remark.
Mohammed Siraj and other slip fielders also joined in, confronting the English batters with visible frustration.
Things got more heated right after. Crawley was hit on the fingers by a Jasprit Bumrah delivery and acted in pain. Gill didn’t buy it.
He walked up clapping sarcastically, clearly unimpressed. Duckett stepped in again, and there was even some finger-pointing before umpires finally wrapped up play with England at 2/0.
Old Trick, New Drama
While Crawley and Duckett didn’t break any rules, the batting side is allowed to slow things down, the Indian team wasn’t happy with what they felt was intentional time-wasting.
With stumps around the corner, India were hoping to put pressure with a couple of quick overs.
Interestingly, the umpires didn’t intervene at all during the heated exchange, and the situation looked entirely out of control for a few minutes. Expect more fireworks when the teams return for Day 4.
