[Watch] Dewald Brevis Hits 3 Consecutive No-Look Sixes Against Australian Pacer During AUS vs SA Decider T20I
Dewald Brevis smashes 53 off 26 balls in 3rd T20I vs Australia, continuing hot form after his maiden international hundred.
Dewald Brevis is enjoying the form of his life. After blasting a match-winning century in the second T20I, the young South African star followed it up with another fiery knock in the series decider against Australia.
Batting first, South Africa were 114 for 4 in 12.2 overs when Brevis departed. The 22-year-old hammered 53 runs off just 26 balls, striking one four and six towering sixes at a strike rate above 200.
His fearless hitting gave South Africa a strong push after a shaky start. Skipper Aiden Markram fell early, and Ryan Rickelton and Lhuan-dre Pretorius could not carry on after promising starts. Brevis, however, took charge and kept the run rate soaring.
Nathan Ellis eventually dismissed him for 53, but by then the damage was done. Brevis walked back to a loud ovation, having once again lifted his side in a high-pressure clash.
Meanwhile, during his stay in the middle, he played some outstanding shots, including three consecutive no-looks sixes, which he hit against Aaron Hardie. While the fourth ball was adjudged wide, Brevis on the very next ball hit another six.

Brevis Shines Back-to-Back
Just two days ago, Brevis smashed his maiden T20I hundred, an unbeaten 125 against the same opposition. That knock helped South Africa level the series 1-1 after losing the first match.
Now, in the decider, he has kept the momentum going with yet another standout performance. Whether South Africa can convert his efforts into a series win will depend on how the rest of the batters and bowlers respond in the second innings.
