AB de Villiers and Sarel Enwee teamed up to produce a sensational fielding moment during the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 clash between South Africa Champions and India Champions. The moment came in the eighth over when Yusuf Pathan, trying to counterattack, misjudged a lofted shot off Imran Tahir.
De Villiers sprinted towards the boundary, timed his jump perfectly, and caught the ball, but with his momentum carrying him over the rope, he tossed it mid-air to Sarel Enwee, who completed the grab with sharp reflexes. India Champions were reduced to 44/5 in 7.1 overs, with the rain arriving soon after to disrupt play.

Earlier, South Africa Champions posted 208/6 in 20 overs, thanks to a captain’s knock from AB de Villiers. Coming in under pressure with the score at 118/5, De Villiers smashed an unbeaten 63 off just 30 balls, including four sixes. He shared a game-changing 71-run stand with JJ Smuts, who added a handy 30 off 17.
