MS Dhoni, usually the picture of calm, was seen losing it when Tushar Deshpande struggled with his bowling during the IPL 2024 opener between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on March 22 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
Tushar Deshpande’s over proved costly after RCB won the toss and elected to bowl first, giving away 47 runs without claiming a wicket in his four overs. The Faf du Plessis-led side went on to post 173 runs on the board for the loss of six wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
In the midst of Deshpande’s costly spell in the first innings, Dhoni was seen having a heated exchange with him, with images of the incident quickly spreading across social media.
