IPL 2024: [Watch] Angry Virat Kohli Refuses to Shake Hands with Umpires After KKR vs RCB Match

Virat Kohli was left fuming when he was adjudged out during KKR vs RCB game.

A new video of the former skipper of RCB, Virat Kohli, has surfaced on social media. In the video, he can be seen refusing a handshake with the umpires in the post-match handshake ceremony after KKR beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by one run in the recent IPL 2024 match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Virat Kohli was unhappy with his controversial dismissal against KKR, as he got out on a high full toss from Harshit Rana, which the RCB batter believed was a no-ball. However, after the decision was referred to the third umpire, it was concluded that since the ball was below his waist, it was not a no-ball and Kohli was fairly given out.

After being adjudged out, Virat Kohli could be seen having a heated argument with the on-field umpires before leaving the field. Even while walking off, he was continuously murmuring and looked very unhappy with the decision of the umpire.

Not only this, after the completion of the game, the on-field umpire approached Virat Kohli and was spotted trying to explain the rules and how the third umpire had ruled him out. However, even at that time, Kohli looked very uninterested.

Furthermore, the RCB stalwart was fined 50% of his match fees for his behaviour and the argument he had with the umpires. The entire cricket fraternity is divided, with some believing that it was a fair delivery while others believe that it was an unfair delivery and Virat was not out.
