Pakistan is playing their second match against Sri Lanka.
Pakistan faces Sri Lanka in their second ICC World Cup 2023 match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. Sri Lanka has won the toss and elected to bat first.
Just before the match kicked off and the players were out on the field for the national anthems, Pakistan captain Babar Azam was spotted having fun with a kid, a video of which is now getting viral on social media.

Pakistan got their World Cup campaign off to a strong start by defeating the Netherlands with an 82-run margin. While their batting was not at its best, their bowlers ensured a memorable victory for the Men in Green.
Earlier, Babar Azam expressed gratitude to the Indian fans for the heartwarming welcome they received upon reaching Hyderabad. He also mentioned that he did not expect the level of hospitality they are receiving in India.
Here’s what Babar Azam had said before the tournament kicked off:
“I think the hospitality was nice – we were not expecting this, but I think the way people are responding towards our team, everyone enjoyed it.”
“We are a week in Hyderabad so it is not like we are in India, it is like we are home. I think it’s a golden opportunity for everyone to give their 100 percent and enjoy the tournament.”
The much-anticipated match between India and Pakistan will be played on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
