Ravindra Jadeja now has the joint most MOM awards for CSK in IPL history.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by seven wickets in the recent IPL 2024 clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, marking their third victory of the season following two consecutive losses.
Kolkata Knight Riders batted first but could only post 137 runs on the board, losing nine wickets in the process. Chennai Super Kings then chased down the target in 17.4 overs.
The star all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja earned the man of the match accolade for his exceptional bowling display, taking three wickets while conceding just 18 runs in his four overs.
With this latest man of the match award, Ravindra Jadeja has reached a total of 15 such awards for CSK in IPL history, matching the record held by former captain MS Dhoni, who also has 15 Man of the Match awards for CSK.
