In T20, Kamran has done wonders by doing 100 stumpings. Kamran has achieved this feat in the domestic T20 tournament being played in Pakistan.
By doing this, Kamran has become the world’s first wicketkeeper to complete 100 stumpings in T20 cricket while MS Dhoni is still at the second position in T20 cricket with 84 stumpings. Dinesh Karthik is at number three in this order with 59 stumpings in T20 cricket. Kamran has created history by making a record of 100 stumpings.
Former Indian captain, MS Dhoni is close to Pakistan wicketkeeper’s record, but as he has taken retirement from international cricket, he won’t be seen playing any T20 tournament now expect Indian Premier League. In such a situation, this world record made by Kamran Akmal seems difficult to break. Former Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed has also 44 stumpings in his record in T20 cricket.
In T20 International, Kamran Akmal is the second wicketkeeper to do the most stumping. Kamran has done a total of 32 stumpings in T20 International, while MS Dhoni is at number one with 34 stumpings. Bangladesh wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim at number three in this case, who has 29 stumpings in T20 International.
