IPL 2024: Romario Shepherd Makes History with Most Runs in Single Over for Mumbai Indians

Romario Shepherd scored 32 runs in the final over against Delhi Capitals.

Romario Shepherd set the stage on fire during his debut for the Mumbai Indians. With only 13 balls to spare, the West Indian all-rounder unleashed his inner beast, smashing 39 runs off just 10 deliveries.

In the final over of the first innings against Delhi Capitals, Shepherd spectacularly amassed 32 runs, dismantling the Delhi Capitals spearhead Anrich Nortje with four sixes and two fours.

Among his shots were a flat six over mid-on, a massive maximum that went out of the ground, and a magnificent six over cover off a short ball directed outside off-stump.

Romario Shepherd, in just one appearance for the Mumbai Indians, has already left his mark by setting a new record for the highest runs scored in a single over for the franchise in IPL history.
