IPL 2024: Hardik Pandya Completes 100 Sixes for Mumbai Indians, Joins Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard in Elite Club

Hardik Pandya has completed 100 sixes for Mumbai Indians.

Hardik Pandya, returning to Mumbai Indians (MI) from Gujarat Titans (GT), hit his 100th Indian Premier League six for the franchise on Wednesday, March 27 during a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Notably, Pandya needed just one six to secure his spot in an esteemed club for Mumbai Indians. Pandya now stands as the third player in Mumbai Indians’ history to hit over 100 sixes, following the footsteps of Rohit Sharma (210 sixes) and Kieron Pollard (223 sixes).

In the 12th over of Mumbai Indians’ chase, Pat Cummins, SRH’s captain, handed the ball to Mayank Markande for his second over. However, things went south fast as the young leg spinner leaked ten runs off his first two deliveries, leaving everyone scratching their heads.

Pandya crushed a massive six off Markande’s bowling to complete his 100th six for the Mumbai-based franchise. Altogether, he has slammed 127 sixes in the tournament, representing both Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans.
