Colin Munro is lighting up the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025, but when it comes to the IPL, the New Zealand batter has no team.
Munro, who has previously played in the IPL with Delhi Capitals, entered the IPL 2025 mega auction with a base price of ₹1.5 crore. However, no franchise made a bid for him, and he went unsold.
The left-hander has been part of different T20 leagues around the world, but IPL opportunities have dried up in recent years.
His last stint in the tournament came in 2019, when he turned out for Delhi Capitals. Before that, he was also part of Kolkata Knight Riders during his early IPL days.
This year, franchises looked elsewhere for their overseas batting options. With plenty of competition and limited overseas slots, Munro missed out, even though he continues to score runs in leagues like the CPL.
