[Watch] Haris Rauf Mocked By Indian Crowd With ‘Kohli, Kohli’ Chants In IND vs PAK Match

Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf faced heavy embarrassment during the Super Four clash against India in the Asia Cup 2025 at Dubai. As he stood on the boundary line, the crowd erupted in ‘Kohli, Kohli’ chants, clearly mocking the pacer.

Batting first, Pakistan posted 172 runs, with Sahibzada Farhan top-scoring with 58 off 45 balls. But India’s openers, Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill, took control of the chase, smashing a 105-run opening partnership in just 10 overs. Rauf struggled, conceding 12 runs in his first over and exchanging words with Sharma on the field.

When Rauf returned to the boundary to bowl, the Dubai crowd chanted Virat Kohli’s name repeatedly. Rauf appeared rattled, flicking his ears as if trying to ignore the taunts. The chant referenced the 2022 T20 World Cup, when Kohli famously hit a huge six off Rauf, a moment that remains etched in cricket history.

The match also saw tensions flare elsewhere. Shaheen Afridi exchanged words with Gill and Sharma, and Rauf had another on-field confrontation with Abhishek Sharma. Umpires had to step in to calm both sides and keep the focus on cricket.

Despite the drama, India cruised to victory. After Sharma and Gill were dismissed, Tilak Varma finished the chase with a boundary off Shaheen Afridi in the 18.5th over. This marked India’s second win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025, following their earlier group-stage victory.
