Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the Indian fast bowler currently representing Noida Super Kings in the UP T20 league under Nitish Rana’s leadership, made headlines on September 5. Rather than his usual bowling prowess, he grabbed attention for his batting performance, having smashed two sixes.
Coming in to bat at number nine for Noida Super Kings, with the team at 157/7, Bhuvneshwar Kumar played a crucial role by smashing two sixes, and overall scoring 14 runs from just four balls, elevating Noida Super Kings’ total to 171/8 before being dismissed by Yogendra Doyla.

Earlier, openers Almas Shaukat and Samarth Singh provided Noida with a fantastic start, forming an 86-run partnership for the opening wicket. Unfortunately, Captain Nitish Rana departed without scoring, but some valuable contributions from the middle and lower middle order ensured Noida posted a respectable total by the end of 20 overs.
