‘Take My Advice And Get English Born Players in England Team’: Fans Slam Michael Vaughan After His Disrespectful Tweet

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has become more active on social media these days. He keep entertaining his fans through his insights and hilarious tweets. However, he has also faced heat on social media for posting some disrespectful tweets. With Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan handed their maiden India caps in the ongoing second T20I against England, he has come up with another cheeky post on Twitter.

Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan earned maiden call-ups to the national team following their astonishing performances for Mumbai Indians in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League. Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan replaced Shikhar Dhawan and Axar Patel in the squad.

It was the poor batting performance from the Indian batsmen that saw them losing the first match of the series by 8 wickets. India’s hopes of posting a big total disappeared inside the first few overs after England bowlers made light work of their top-order. Jofra Archer gave England the early breakthrough by dismissing KL Rahul for just 1 before Adil Rashid sent back India skipper Virat Kohli for a 5-ball duck. Shikhar Dhawan could not do much either as Mark Wood dismissed him for 4 to leave India reeling at 20 for 3.

Rishabh Pant also failed to score big and departed for 21 to leave the team reeling at 48 for 4. At one stage, it looked like the hosts would struggle to touch the 100-run mark. However, a fine knock of 67 from Shreyas Iyer helped the team post a respectable total of 124. For England, Archer was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 for 23 off his four overs.
