‘Stop Playing Cricket With Pakistan’ – Uddhav Sena’s Appeal to BCCI in Wake of J&K Terror Incident

India has already played their group stage match against Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.

Shiv Sena-UBT has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, appealing for India not to play against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024.

Shiv Sena-UBT leader Anand Dubey stated that they have written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, and the BCCI President.

They argued against India playing cricket matches with Pakistan. They emphasized that while Pakistan is killing innocent people in India, it is not suitable for the Men in Blue to engage in cricket with them. They suggested cutting off all relations with Pakistan until they mend their ways.

“India should cancel the cricket match with Pakistan in view of ongoing violence,” said Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey in his letter, also marked to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Here, it is worth mentioning that team India has already played the scheduled match against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024 on June 9 New York and there are no chances of Babar Azam & Co. of making it to the Super 8 stage.

A CRPF soldier lost his life, and six security personnel sustained injuries during two overnight encounters with terrorists in Kathua and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir two days ago.
