Sachin Tendulkar’s Son Arjun Tendulkar Engaged To Saaniya Chandok In Private Ceremony
Arjun Tendulkar gets engaged to Saaniya Chandok, granddaughter of businessman Ravi Ghai, in a private Mumbai ceremony.
Mumbai Indians pacer Arjun Tendulkar is engaged to Saaniya Chandok, granddaughter of well-known Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. The ceremony was kept low-key, with only close friends and family present.
According to a report by India Today, the engagement took place on August 13 in Mumbai. Both families have chosen not to issue any official statement so far. Social media chatter suggests Arjun and Saaniya have known each other since childhood.
Saaniya comes from one of Mumbai’s most prominent business families, while Arjun is the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. Arjun represents Goa in domestic cricket and has also played for Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
In the last two IPL seasons, Arjun featured briefly in 2023 and 2024 but did not get a game in the 2025 edition under captain Hardik Pandya. Mumbai Indians went on to reach the second qualifier before losing to Punjab Kings, led by Shreyas Iyer.
With the next IPL auction coming up, there is speculation that Arjun could be released by Mumbai Indians, giving him a chance to look for opportunities with another franchise in 2026.
