SA20 2024: Marcus Stoinis Replaces Nicholas Pooran in Durban Super Giants’s Squad
Nicholas Pooran has played three matches for Durban Super Giants in SA20 2024.
Durban’s Super Giants have signed Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis as a replacement of Nicholas Pooran, who is off to Dubai to participate in the ILT20, set to kick off on January 19.
Pooran featured in the first three matches of the ongoing campaign for DSG, managing to score 86 runs with an impressive average of 43. He will now be seen leading MI Emirates in ILT20.
Notably, both Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran represent Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, a franchise under the same ownership as Durban Super Giants.
Durban Super Giants made a sensational start to their tournament campaign, winning all three matches and securing the top position in the points table. They will be facing Pretoria Capitals in their next encounter on January 19.
