After completing Pakistan’s ODI series against the West Indies, Rizwan joined St Kitts and Nevis Patriots for CPL 2025. But the right-hander’s issues with strike rate followed him.

In two matches so far, he has scored 33 runs off 32 balls at a strike rate of just 103, with only two boundaries to his name. His highest score remains 30.

The turning point came in a clash against Barbados Royals when Rizwan was bowled attempting a sweep shot. The Royals shared the dismissal on social media, but what caught everyone’s eye was the background track, “Haal Kaise Hai Aapka”, a cheeky choice that fans quickly interpreted as trolling.

The clip went viral within hours. Rizwan’s dip in form comes at a difficult time. He was recently dropped from Pakistan’s Asia Cup 2025 squad as the selectors seek faster-scoring options.

Interestingly, Rizwan is not the only senior struggling in the format. Former skipper Babar Azam has also faced the axe, though reports suggest he may get another shot in Pakistan’s T20I setup if he impresses in Australia’s Big Bash League.
