PSL 2023: Australia T20I Captain Aaron Finch Signs up For Draft

Aaron Finch earlier confirmed that he wants to extend his T20 career.

A plethora of international players have registered their names for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL 2023) Player Draft, which is set to take place in the third week of November 2022.

Australia’s T20I captain Aaron Finch, who recently confirmed that he wants to extend his career in the shortest format of the game, also signed up for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Draft.

Finch is one of the most experienced T20 batters from Australia with over 10, 000 runs under his belt in 367 matches at a decent strike rate of 139.32 and an average of 33.63.

England’s star batter Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, and Jason Roy along with left-arm pacer Reece Topley, Tom Curran, and Adil Rashid have signed up for the Draft.

From South Africa, Rilee Rossouw, David Miller, Wayne Parnell, Lungi Ngidi, and Rassie Van Der Dussen have enrolled their names for the Draft.

From West Indies, their T20I captain Nicholas Pooran and Evin Lewis have registered their names while from the Island nation Sri Lanka, Dasun Shanaka and Wanindu Hasaranga have registered for the draft.

Earlier, Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Mujeeb-ur-Rahman, Bangladesh’s Shakib-al-Hasan, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza, and the Netherlands’ Colin Ackermann have already been confirmed by the PCB for the draft.

The PSL 8 draft is expected to take place later this month as the six franchises look to shape up their squads for the showpiece event. The tournament is scheduled to be held from February 9 to March 19 next year across four venues, Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan.
