PCB To Built Hotel Near Gaddafi Stadium to Enhance International Players’ Champions Trophy Experience

PCB has bought a building near Gaddafi Stadium to convert it to hotel for their local and international players.

In a significant upgrade, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has bought a building near the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, earmarked to serve as a hotel during the Champions Trophy 2025. The building, under construction, will be revamped into a hotel for player accommodation.

The PCB has invested approximately 4 billion Pakistan Rupees in the purchase of a multi-storied building located in close proximity to the stadium. This strategic acquisition addresses previous security concerns raised by the board, although construction was temporarily halted due to legal complexities.

PCB Building Hotel for Champions Trophy

As per reports, Pakistan Cricket is investing significantly and committing substantial efforts to guarantee the well-being of international players during the Champions Trophy 2025. Additionally, these initiatives are geared towards supporting local players during other times.

At present, players are accommodated in a nearby hotel, resulting in significant expenditure for the PCB. Moreover, security concerns necessitate the closure of roads linking the hotel to the stadium. Upon completion of the hotel construction, it is expected to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce expenditure for the PCB.
