PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi to Sue Pakistan Fan After Haris Rauf Incident in London
Mohsin Naqvi to launch a legal battle against the Pakistan fan who abused Haris Rauf in London.
Mohsin Naqvi, the chief of the Pakistan Cricket Board, has released a statement about the recent altercation involving Haris Rauf and a Pakistan fan in London.
Mohsin Naqvi has criticized the behavior and insisted that the fan who disrespected Haris Rauf should apologize or legal steps will be taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Here’s what Mohsin Naqvi wrote on X:
“Strongly condemn the appalling incident involving Haris Rauf. Such actions against our players are completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Those who are involved must immediately apologise to Haris Rauf, failing which we will pursue legal action against the individual responsible.”
It is worth mentioning that the Pakistan fast bowler was walking with his wife in the streets of London when a fan requested a photo. The bowler declined, leading to a heated exchange.
The situation escalated to the point where Haris Rauf nearly attacked the fan, and if not for the intervention of bystanders, he might have hit the fan.
Several Pakistani cricketers, including Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan, have condemned this behavior, emphasizing that while they are professional athletes, criticism should be constructive and fans should refrain from abuse.
