Pakistan Pacer Haris Rauf Issues Bold Warning to India and Rivals Before T20 World Cup 2024

Haris Rauf stated that Pakistan is capable of beating any team on the given day.

Pakistan paceman Haris Rauf is back with a vengeance. After a three-month injury layoff due to a dislocated shoulder, Rauf is using the time off as motivation to shine in the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup.

The 30-year-old quick bowler made a promising return in the second T20I match against reigning champions England, grabbing 2 wickets for 34 runs at Edgbaston.

“The injury was tough, but if you believe in yourself, the break can be a blessing,” Rauf declared at a pre-match press conference before the third T20. “It gave me time to recover and refine my strategies. Playing for Pakistan is a huge honor, and I felt great getting back on the field.”

While Pakistan lost the 2nd T20I by 23 runs, Haris Rauf, believes that Pakistan Cricket team has the ability to defeat any team on their day and has a knack for bouncing back from setbacks.

“When you lose a game it hurts, but as a team, we are confident,” he said. “We feel we can beat any opposition on any day. We’ve done it in the past, too. When you make mistakes you learn and try not to repeat those mistakes. We’re looking to play better in the next few games and make a comeback.”

“The atmosphere in the camp is positive. We’re enjoying the process and working on executing our plans effectively. Results haven’t always gone our way lately, but staying committed to the strategy often leads to success.”

England and Pakistan lock horns again in the third T20I today at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
