Pakistan and New Zealand are currently playing a five-match T20 series against each other. While the first T20 match was washed out, Pakistan won the second match before New Zealand came back stronger to win the third match and level the series 1–1.
During the press conference ahead of the fourth T20I, Babar Azam was asked if the team or he was experiencing any kind of pressure after the defeat, especially against the New Zealand ‘B’ team in Rawalpindi.
Here’s what Babar Azam replied:
“Look, you guys (media) talk a lot. You always make up stuff. I never change my plans due to pressure. We always try to prioritize those things which are beneficial for our team and I believe in it, and that’s my strength.”
Meanwhile, the Men in Green suffered a big blow ahead of their fourth T20 as their star wicketkeeper, Mohammad Rizwan, has been ruled out of the remaining series due to a hamstring injury.
