Not RCB or DC, Only Mumbai Indians Deserve to Win IPL 2025: Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh feels no team deserves the IPL 2025 trophy if Mumbai Indians don’t win it this year.

Harbhajan Singh has made a big statement about Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025. The former Team India and MI spinner feels that this season belongs only to the Hardik Pandya-led side.

After registering their seventh win of the season, Mumbai Indians are now sitting at the top of the points table. Their latest victory was a huge 100-run win against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, where they defended a big total of 217 runs.

It was a special game for MI as their top four batters finally fired together. Ryan Rickelton smashed 61 runs, Rohit Sharma made 53, while Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya both contributed 48 each.

Their bowlers also delivered, with Trent Boult and Karn Sharma picking three wickets each. Jasprit Bumrah got two, and Hardik and Deepak Chahar chipped in with one wicket each.

Harbhajan Singh, speaking about MI’s performance, said they are the most deserving team this year.

“If Mumbai Indians don’t win the IPL trophy this year, other franchises also don’t deserve to lift the trophy. I don’t want to count Jasprit Bumrah as when he comes back, he is like a Bahubali. They have Boult, Chahar, Will Jacks, Hardik, Karn and Corbin Bosch as the bowling options,” he said.

He also added, “They have the team that can win the tournament, and this is their year. Nobody will be able to catch them, and I am sure they will lift the trophy for the sixth time.”

Mumbai Indians had a tough start to IPL 2025, losing back-to-back games. But things turned around after their close win against Delhi Capitals, and they have not looked back since. Almost every player is now performing well, and MI seem to be peaking at the perfect time.
