Nepal Cricketers Sandeep Lamichhane, Dipendra Singh to Play Alongside Babar Azam in Global T20 Canada 2024

Nepal cricketers Sandeep Lamichhane, Rohit Paudel, and Dipendra Singh Airee have been signed for the 2024 Global T20 Canada (GT20) League, a 20-over franchise cricket tournament hosted in Canada.

Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee will play together for the Vancouver Knights, alongside cricket stars Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir, and Mohammad Rizwan.

Rohit Paudel, set to make his debut in a franchise league outside Nepal, has joined the Toronto Nationals.

The fourth edition of GT20 Canada is scheduled to take place from July 25th to August 10th. In the previous edition, Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee’s teams faced off in the final, with Airee’s side claiming the title.

This time, however, both Nepalese stars will be playing on the same team.
