Mohammad Amir Reveals His Favorite Fast Bowler of the Current Era

Mohammad Amir announced retirement from international cricket back in 2020.

Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir has named New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult as his favourite bowler of the current era.

Mohammad Amir is among the select few cricketers whose international cricket careers were curtailed due to their own actions.

Despite being hailed as the next big thing in Pakistan cricket for his pace and accuracy, Amir’s trajectory was derailed by the shadow of a match-fixing controversy.

When he made a comeback, he looked good, but then out of the blue, he pulled the plug and decided to retire early in 2020, saying the then-management was ‘torturing’ him.

What was once a bright prospect in the world of fast bowling can now be seen playing in various T10 and T20 leagues worldwide.

Amir took to Twitter to share a recent video of himself with Trent Boult, labelling the New Zealand speedster as his favourite bowler of the current era. Here’s what Amir wrote in the caption:

“With my absolute favourite bowler of this era, Trent Boult.”
