Mohammad Amir Returns as Pakistan Names Squad for T20I Series Against New Zealand

Apart from Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim has also returned to the Pakistan squad.

Pakistan has named their team roster for the upcoming T20I series versus New Zealand. Pakistan will go head-to-head with the Blackcaps in a five-game series that kicks off on April 18.

Mohammad Amir has returned to the team after an absence of nearly four years. His last appearance for the national team was in August 2020.

Recently, Amir reversed his retirement decision. Additionally, Imad Wasim, who has re-offered his availability for the team, has also been included in the squad.

Notably, Irfan Khan and Usman Khan have received their first call-ups for the series. Usman Khan, however, was recently banned by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) for “misrepresenting” his decision to play for UAE and failing to meet the eligibility criteria.
