Reeza Hendricks Shines with a Half-Century

After losing Ryan Rickelton early for just 8 runs, Rassie van der Dussen and Reeza Hendricks steadied the innings with a solid partnership. Van der Dussen scored a brisk 43 off 33 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes before getting bowled by Dayyaan Galiem.

Hendricks took charge of the innings, playing a brilliant knock of 59 runs off 37 balls. His innings included eight boundaries and one six. His dismissal in the 16th over by Mujeeb Ur Rahman marked a turning point, as the middle order crumbled under pressure.

Delano Potgieter’s Late Fireworks

After a mini-collapse, Delano Potgieter stepped up in the death overs. Batting at number six, he smashed 29 runs off just 18 balls, hitting two fours and two sixes. His aggressive knock provided the much-needed finishing touch to the innings.

Dewald Brevis, who was pushed down the order, managed to score 14 runs off 9 balls before being dismissed by Galiem. Azmatullah remained unbeaten on 2 as MI Cape Town ended their innings at 172/7.
