Mickey Arthur Takes Dig At The Pakistan Cricket Board for Preparing ‘Flat and Lifeless’ Pitches

Mickey Arthur takes an indirect dig at the PCB over flat pitches.

Former Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur lambasted the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for preparing ‘flat and lifeless’ pitches at home.

Arthur stated that Test matches become exciting only when the pitches offer something for the bowlers to work with.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), here’s what Mickey Arthur said:

“Test cricket gets so exciting to watch when you have pitches which slightly favours the bowlers instead of just flat lifeless ones!”

Notably, Test matches in Pakistan have often proved to be batting paradise, with matches often stretching the full five days as both teams amassed huge totals on the board.

After a poor outing by the Pakistan Cricket Team in the ODI World Cup, all three foreign coaches including Mickey Arthur were sacked by the PCB.
