Kieron Pollard Joins England As Batting Consultant for T20 World Cup 2024
Kieron Pollard’s valuable experience will be helpful for England cricket team.
The England cricket team has appointed former West Indies star Kieron Pollard as a batting consultant for the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.
Pollard, who recently retired from international cricket, brings a wealth of experience to the role. The 37-year-old is a T20 veteran, having played in a staggering 101 T20 internationals for the West Indies.
This isn’t Pollard’s first foray into coaching. He currently serves as the batting coach for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He also led the New York Strikers to victory in the Abu Dhabi T10 League last year and led the Trinbago Knight Riders to the CPL 2023 final.
Kieron Pollard – An Asset for England
Kieron Pollard‘s presence will be particularly valuable given the T20 World Cup 2024 is being held in the West Indies and the United States.
His knowledge of Caribbean pitches and playing conditions will be a huge asset for the England batsmen as they look to defend their crown.
