Jofra Archer Has Not Registered for IPL 2024 Auction
IP 2024 Auction is scheduled in Dubai on December 19
Jofra Archer, the English paceman, will not be a part of the IPL 2024 auction as he continues his recovery from elbow surgery and hasn’t enlisted for the auction.
A total of 1,166 players have enrolled their names for the auction, with the final list set to be shared with every franchise on Friday (Dec 1). The 2024 IPL mini-auction will take place in Dubai on December 9.
Mumbai Indians secured Jofra Archer for a whopping amount of INR 8 Crore in the IPL 2022 mega auction and chose to retain him for the IPL 2023.
The English pacer played a total of five matches for Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2023 season and could only pick up two wickets in those matches.
Unfortunately, he missed the remainder of the tournament due to injury. This is one of the reasons why Mumbai Indians have released him ahead of the IPL 2024 auction.
