IPL 2024: Yuvraj Singh Names a CSK All-Rounder Who Should Be in India’s T20 World Cup 2024 Squad

Putting on a dazzling show, Shivam Dube played an outstanding knock, scoring 45 runs off a mere 24 deliveries, including two boundaries and four maximums, in the 17th match of IPL 2024 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on Friday, April 14.

Shivam Dube has maintained exceptional form since last year, and he’s carrying that momentum into this season as well. With an impressive tally of 148 runs in only 4 matches, he’s maintaining a phenomenal strike rate of 161 and an average of 50.

With the T20 World Cup just around the corner in the next two months, there’s increasing pressure to include Shivam Dube in the Indian squad. Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has also chimed in, calling for his selection by the national selectors.

Taking to X, here’s what Yuvraj Singh wrote:

Although there might not be an immediate opening in the Indian T20 squad, Shivam Dube could still be included as a backup player for the upcoming World Cup. This way, he could accompany the team and be prepared to fill in if required.
