IPL 2024: Top 3 Records That Could Be Broken in Today’s MI vs LSG Match

Marcus Stoinis is just 5-fours away to reach 150 IPL fours milestone.

The 48th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will be played against Mumbai Indians And Lucknow Super Giants at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match is scheduled on 17th May from 7:30 pm. This is the last game for both teams.

This will be the final IPL match at this stadium this year. The Mumbai Indians are out of the playoff race way back. The Indians have won four and lost nine games. They presently rank 9th in the points table. Thus, MI would play the game to end on a respectable position in the points table.

On the other hand, the Lucknow Super Giants have won six matches and lost seven. They are currently ranked sixth in the points table. Mumbai Indians would try to take revenge for the last meeting between these two sides, held at Ekana.

Lucknow Super Giants still have an Outside chance to make to it the playoffs. Lucknow Super Giants will be led by KL Rahul while Hardik Pandya will be leading Mumbai Indians. If rumours are to believe this can be the last game for Rahul as a captain in an LSG jersey.

LSG was in a decent spot to make it to the playoffs by simply winning their two games but the loss in the last game has ended their campaign and they are now relying on playoff table maths.

Here are some records that could be broken in the match
