Ahead of the much-anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season, the coaching staff of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) made a spiritual visit to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya to seek the blessings of Lord Ram.
In a recent post shared by the Lucknow Super Giants’ social media handle, head coach Justin Langer, along with fielding coach Jonty Rhodes, spin sensation Ravi Bishnoi, and Keshav Maharaj, who will be training with the LSG team for IPL 2024, were seen visiting Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir.
The visit comes amidst significant changes in LSG’s coaching staff. Former head coach Andy Flower departed to join the Royal Challengers Bangalore, while Justin Langer has stepped in as the new head coach. Additionally, Gautam Gambhir has relinquished his mentoring role at LSG to join KKR.
With a revamped coaching staff in place, Captain KL Rahul is all set for another exciting new chapter in the upcoming IPL season, sparking curiosity about his performance. Notably, LSG has reached the playoffs in both seasons since its IPL debut in 2022.
Lucknow Super Giants will kick off their IPL 2024 campaign against Rajasthan Royals on March 24 at Jaipur.
