It all happened in the 13th match of IPL 2024 between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings, where David Warner and Prithvi Shaw opened the innings for Delhi Capitals, providing a flying start to the team.
Mustafizur Rahman, who was awarded the Man of the Match in the CSK’s first game, came to bowl the last over of the powerplay for the Chennai Super Kings’ innings.
On the very first delivery, David Warner hit him for a boundary. The next ball was a no-ball, and Warner took a single.
In the next three deliveries that Prithvi Shaw faced, he hit three consecutive boundaries, followed by byes and a single. It was an overall expensive over, conceding 18 runs.
