Wriddhiman Saha and Manish Pandey Handled SRH Innings
Sunrisers had not started well while chasing. On 10 runs, the team lost the first wicket as captain David Warner (8). After this, opener Wriddhiman Saha took over the innings by partnering 50 runs for the second wicket with Manish Pandey. Saha scored 39 and Manish scored 26 runs.
Finally, all-rounder, Jason Holder played an unbeaten inning of 26 off 10 deliveries and SRH won the match by 5 wickets.
For Bengaluru, Yuzvendra Chahal took the maximum 2 wickets. He sent Wriddhiman Saha and Manish Pandey to the pavilion. Apart from these, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini and Isuru Udana got 1-1 wickets.
Sandeep and Holder Took 2-2 Wickets
Bengaluru scored 120 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Josh Philippe scored the highest 32 runs off 31 balls. Apart from him, AB de Villiers scored 24 and Washington Sundar scored 21 runs. Sandeep Sharma and Jason Holder took 2–2 wickets each for Hyderabad. Apart from these, T Natarajan, Shahbaz Nadeem and Rashid Khan took 1-1 wickets.
Bengaluru’s Poor Start
RCB had a very poor start today in the crucial match. The team had lost 2 wickets for 28 runs. Both the batsman dismissed by Sandeep Sharma. He bowled opener Devdutt Padikkal (5). After this Virat Kohli (7) was caught out by Kane Williamson. Josh Philippe scored 32 runs and AB de Villiers scored 24 runs. There was a 43-run partnership for the third wicket between the two.
Josh Philippe was caught by Rashid Khan in the hands of Manish Pandey. At the same time, Abhishek took the catch of de Villiers on the Shahbaz Nadeem’s deliveries. Washington Sundar (21) was caught and bowl by T Natarajan.
Sandeep Sharma Bowls Out Kohli For 7th Time
Sandeep Sharma sent Virat Kohli for a record 7th time in the IPL. With this, he also equalled the record of dismissing a batsman in the league for the most times. Earlier, Zaheer Khan has also dismissed Mahendra Singh Dhoni 7 times in the league. Kohli scored 68 runs in 12 innings against Sandeep and was dismissed 7 times.
