Delhi Capitals batsman Marcus Stoinis hit the fastest half-century of IPL against Kings XI Punjab this season. He completed his half-century off just 20 balls. His innings was extremely important for Delhi as the team has suffered a slow start. He played spectacular innings with his bat and helped Shreyas Iyer’s team to score 157 for 8 wickets in 20 overs. This was his debut IPL match for Delhi.

Marcus hit the second-fastest half-century in UAE and successfully reached the second place. He left behind Maxwell, who hit a half-century in the UAE off 21 balls. However, the record of setting the fastest half-century in the IPL here is in the name of David Miller, who had scored a half-century off just 19 balls in 2014. Marcus missed out on breaking his record but came in second in the UAE for the fastest half-century.
