Kings XI Punjab marked their third consecutive and fourth overall win in the IPL 2020 as they won the match against Delhi Capitals by five-wicket on Tuesday. Following this win, they moved to the fifth spot of the points table. Delhi, however, remains on the top with seven wins in ten matches.
Earlier in the match, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, DC posted 164 runs on the board. Chasing 165, Kings XI Punjab marked an easy win with an over remaining.
Nicholas Pooran was the ‘hero’ of his side as he played a match-winning inning for Kings XI Punjab against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday. He smashed 53 runs off just 28 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes.

The former India batsman Sachin Tendulkar hailed Pooran and said that his ‘stance and backlift’ reminds him of JP Duminy.
During the match, when Pooran was showing his brilliant batting skills against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday, Tendulkar took to Twitter and wrote, “Some power-packed shots played by Nicholas Pooran. What a clean striker of the ball he has been. His stance and backlift reminds me of JP Duminy.”
