India registered a historical win at Brisbane’s Gabba last week in the fourth Test against Australia to regain the Border-Gavaskar trophy, and they once again return to action in February when England visit India. The hosts will be bolstered by the return of skipper Virat Kohli and a few other regulars.

The England tour of India will kickstart with the much-awaited Test series, the first match of which will be played at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from February 05. The Test series will be crucial to both sides’ fortunes- especially India’s- as they aim to finish in the top-two in the ICC World Test Championship table.

England, on the other hand, besides winning the ongoing Test in Sri Lanka, will have to win by at least 3-0 if they hope to make it to Lord’s.
