According to a report from Sky Sports Cricket, the Indian management is not planning any workload-related rest for either player.

Bumrah All Set After Rest In 2nd Test

Jasprit Bumrah, who missed the second Test due to workload management, is now expected to return to the playing XI. Before the series began, it was indicated that the pacer would play only three matches in the five-match Test series.

With India now trailing 1-2 in the series after a heartbreaking 22-run defeat at Lord’s, the team is likely to bring Bumrah back for the crucial fourth game.

Rishabh Pant Cleared To Play

Pant, who suffered a finger injury during the Lord’s Test, had handed over wicketkeeping duties to Dhruv Jurel.

Despite the injury scare, the left-hander continued to bat and scored a vital 74 in the first innings. Reports now suggest that Pant has recovered and is available for selection in the fourth Test.

There had also been questions around his workload, especially with his long stints behind the stumps and key batting roles, but the team seems keen to continue with their best XI as they look to level the series.

India captain Shubman Gill has not yet confirmed any changes to the side, but no major tweaks are expected unless there are fresh injury concerns.
