IND vs ENG: Jofra Archer Added to England Squad for 2nd Test Against India
Jofra Archer returns to England’s Test squad after three years for the second Test vs India at Edgbaston. Full 15-member squad announced as England lead 1-0

England have bolstered their pace attack by adding Jofra Archer to their 15-member squad for the second Test against India, scheduled to begin on July 2 at Edgbaston.
This marks Archer’s return to the national Test squad after more than three years. The 30-year-old last featured in a red-ball game for England in February 2021 and has since been battling recurring injuries.
Archer Returns After Long Layoff
Jofra Archer recently made his First-Class return in the County Championship, playing for Sussex against Durham.
In the match, he bowled 18 overs, picked up one wicket (Emilio Gay), and conceded only 32 runs.
While the match ended in a draw, his return to competitive red-ball cricket was seen as a positive sign by England selectors.
