‘He Doesn’t Have Good PR Agency’ – Gautam Gambhir Reveals Why Yuvraj Singh Misses Due Credit for 2011 World Cup

Gautam Gambhir, renowned for his candour, and a personality consistently grabbing attention with his unfiltered viewpoints, is back in the spotlight discussing the 2011 World Cup.

When questioned about his impact in the 2011 World Cup final, often overshadowed by MS Dhoni‘s performance, Gautam Gambhir asserted that nothing should be considered underrated.

“When people label us as underrated, what they’ve truly underrated is the knock, questioning how underrated the player is. These are the individuals who undermine, undervalue, and underappreciated players. Nothing is underrated.”

Gambhir also pointed out that Yuvraj Singh, the 2011 World Cup’s Man of the Tournament, doesn’t get the credit he deserves because he lacks a good PR setup. He added that broadcasters should cover all players in the dressing room, not just the big ones.
