Haris Rauf Breaks Silence, Reveals It Was a Pakistan Fan, Not Indian, Who Abused Him

Haris Rauf admitted that it was a Pakistan fan who abused him in London.

Haris Rauf, the Pakistan fast bowler, who was recently in a heated exchange with a fan on a London street, has clarified that the fan was Pakistani, not Indian.

Haris Rauf told this to the host of a popular TV show in Pakistan, who later confirmed on national television that the fan who abused the fast bowler was from Pakistan.

Haris Rauf was on the verge of attacking a fan on the street, but was restrained by people nearby and his wife. During an exchange he also said that ‘he must be an Indian.’

Upon hearing this, the fan informed Haris Rauf that he was Pakistani. Despite this clarification, social media, particularly Pakistani fans, continued to speculate that he was Indian.

Not only that, the Pakistan wicket-keeper batter, Mohammad Rizwan even mentioned India in his viral tweet supporting Haris Rauf, which led to Indian fans targeting him.
